Neosho County Landfill Cleanup Week

Neosho County Landfill, located at 13750 Rooks Rd Erie KS, will be hosting a free clean up week beginning Tuesday, May 2nd 2023 and ending Saturday, May 6th  2023.  Daily hours of operation are 8 am to 4 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. 

The following stipulations apply:

  • Open to Neosho County Residents Only.
  • No businesses or commercial disposal.
  • Tires will be accepted at half the regular rate.
  • (MSW)Municipal Solid Waste (Household Trash) will be full price.


Request for Quotes Advertisement

Neosho County is compiling a list of vendors interested in receiving notice of requests for quotes for the purchase of tires for the Neosho County Road and Bridge Department. Any vendor interested in being placed on the list of those contacted in the event of a need for tires should email The Neosho County Road and Bridge Department or by phone at 620-244-3855.

In the event of a need for tires, Neosho County will contact each vendor listed once via email to provide information regarding the specific type of tires needed. All quotes must be in writing and must be received by the Neosho County Road and Bridge Department via email, facsimile, or by hand delivery on or before noon of the next business day following the request for quotes. If submitting quotes by facsimile or by email it will be the vendor's responsibility to confirm that quotes are actually received by the Neosho County Road and Bridge Department prior to the applicable deadline. Quotes not received prior to the applicable deadline for any reason, including, but not limited to, technical problems with email and facsimile machines, will be destroyed and will not be considered.

Quotes may be accepted or rejected at the sole discretion of the Neosho County Road and Bridge Director and/or his or her authorized representative(s). Neosho County reserves the right to reject any or all quotes.
