Treasurer
The County Treasurer's Office is responsible for:
- Processing all motor vehicle registrations.
- Accepting and processing payment of real estate and personal property taxes.
- Distributing monies to all the taxing entities at the County and State level.
- Investing of Idle funds.
The County Treasurer is an agent for the State of Kansas for motor vehicle titles and tags. Neosho County does not provide a driver's license service because there is a Kansas Highway Patrol station in our county in Chanute.
