Neosho County is compiling a list of vendors interested in receiving notice of requests for quotes for the purchase of tires for the Neosho County Road and Bridge Department. Any vendor interested in being placed on the list of those contacted in the event of a need for tires should contact The Neosho County Road and Bridge Department by email at email@example.com or by phone at (620) 244-3855.
In the event of a need for tires, Neosho County will contact each vendor listed once via email to provide information regarding the specific type of tires needed. All quotes must be in writing and must be received by the Neosho County Road and Bridge Department via email, facsimile, or by hand delivery on or before 12:00 p.m. of the next business day following the request for quotes. If submitting quotes by facsimile or by email it will be the vendor’s responsibility to confirm that quotes are actually received by the Neosho County Road and Bridge Department prior to the applicable deadline. Quotes not received prior to the applicable deadline for any reason, including, but not limited to, technical problems with email and facsimile machines, will be destroyed and will not be considered.

Neosho County Landfill Cleanup Week
Neosho County landfill will be hosting a free clean-up week beginning Tuesday, October 12th, 2021, and ending Saturday, October 16th, 2021. Daily hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Tuesday thru Saturday).
Items that qualify for disposal at NO CHARGE to NEOSHO COUNTY RESIDENTS:
C&D - Includes construction & demolition materials such as old lumber, wood, concrete, bricks, dirt, wooden furniture, mattresses, couches, carpet, etc.
Metal pile: Refrigerators*, stoves, water tanks, scrap metal, tin, etc., and wire, Air Conditioners*. *Tagged Freon removed.
Burn Pile: Limbs and brush only (NO OTHER WOOD of any kind). Also grass clippings & leaves (NOT including bags).
Items will be REFUSED: PAINT - OIL - INSECTICIDES
Items that must be kept and weighed separate are NOT FREE and must be disposed of in compactor at REGULAR RATE:
All forms of household trash
All forms of burn barrel waste
Old clothing or wearing apparel, bedding, etc.
Magazines, books, newspapers, cardboard
All electronics - Televisions, VCR's, microwave ovens
Computer & accessories, vacuum sweepers, etc.
All empty cans, bottles, buckets, or containers that are glass, plastic, or metal, caulking tubes, plastic toys, lawn furniture, garden hoses, swim pools, etc.
Note: FREE dumping does not apply to contractors or businesses that are hauling for hire. Individuals only.
