The County Treasurer is an agent for the State of Kansas for motor vehicle titles and tags. Neosho County does not provide drivers license service because there is a Kansas Highway Patrol station in our county in Chanute.

Most tags can be renewed on-line with a credit card or E-Check by visiting the following website at www.kswebtags.org or with a credit card by calling 1-866-4KSTAGS (1-866-457-8247). Vehicle must be currently registered in Kansas, you must have a Kansas Motor Vehicle registration notice that contains a Personal Identification Number (PIN), address on the renewal notice is current, and most important, the vehicle is currently insured by a participating insurance company. There is a convenience fee for the use of this service. To download motor vehicle forms please visit www.ksrevenue.org/forms-dmv.htm. these forms are Adobe acrobat format and require Acrobat Reader 3.0 or above to open.

Real-estate and personal taxes are due by December 20 each year. If you Opt to pay taxes in half, the second half is due by May 10. No second half notice will be sent.
