Part-Time Communication Officer in the 911 Communications Department. The Communication Officer answers emergency and nonemergency calls, dispatches personnel and equipment, and provides pre-arrival instructions to callers. Must obtain immediate and correct information for relay to responding law enforcement and / or emergency response entities. Must be able to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Ability to operate various software programs such as Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel.
The capability to learn new software in a timely manner.
The ability to understand policies and procedures of the department and meet necessary deadlines for processing paperwork.
Shift is 07:00am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday with a 30 minute lunch.
