candidates to file or withdraw (except independent and judicial
retention candidates).
July 3, 2008 is the deadline on in-state residence change. A
voter who moves within 30 days before election may vote in their
former precinct.
July 16, 2008 Earliest date for mailing of advanced ballots. (20
days before election)
July 21, 2008 The last day to register to vote or change party
affiliation.
July 28, 2008 Candidates and their agents may inspect ballots.
July 29, 2008 Advance voting in person at the County Clerk’s
office must begin.

August 15, 2008 Primary election recount must be competed by
5:00 p.m. if Monday request.

declare incapability and withdraw from nomination.
